Lena, a talented obstetrician and gynecologist, has a tender and intimate relationship with her actor husband Sergei, an actor in a provincial theater, but lacks sexual fulfillment. She suspects that her husband is cheating on her, but has to suffer in silence to keep the jealousy from flooding in. Lena begins to have relationships with strange men, and her betrayal spirals out of control, completely changing her reality.
The movie is kind of like a movie version of Couples World, the same story of a husband cheating on his wife and her revenge, but with more blush-inducing scenes. Lena takes revenge by having sex with different men, yet such behavior fails to fill her inner loneliness. Meanwhile, someone on the internet accuses Lena of being a slutty female doctor who specializes in seducing her patients’ husbands. Will Lena’s marriage, career and reputation go to ruin because of her problems?
