After watching the film 《Special Party Branch》, I felt a lot of pain and emotion. The “pain” is the scene-by-scene reproduction of the people’s victimisation, and the “emotion” is the very different life choices made by the two main actors. After deep thinking, we came to the conclusion that the road of pursuing dreams may be full of bumps and thorns, but the greatest courage is to firmly believe in it! As the film says, “A brave boy can touch the stars”. In the revolutionary road of crossing the river by touching the stones, believing that there is a road ahead, believing that there is light on the road ahead, and bravely walking forward, we can finally realise our gorgeous dreams.
The film tells the story of the “Five Heroes of Shaoshan” in a chapter-by-chapter narrative, interspersed with time and space. The film is novel and special in form, adopting a total division structure, explaining the meanings of “sir”, “student”, “doctor” and “madman” one by one, and they are the most important people in the world. “They are the epitome of millions of revolutionaries. Running through the whole line are the two main actors, Pang Defu and Shen Zhuoyi, whose stories are full of suspense and hilarity, with great acting skills and ups and downs, making them a highlight of the film. In the end, Shen Zhuoyi’s story is revealed, which makes the audience sigh with sadness. The fact that he did not die from the shooting did not make him hate the dark world more, but rather doubt the meaning of the revolution, and in the end, he died, and his distorted beliefs died with him.
“Where is the rainbow tell me…” . In the film, rainbows are only found in clear skies and after rain. That’s right, on the way forward, the hardest thing to get through is the rain before the rainbow, the darkness before the dawn. Faith, however, is our spiritual fortress, which makes us fearless of life and death, and gives us the courage to go on unswervingly!
