Film Name:一击 / One Shot
Modern warfare, special forces, terrorists, a movie with these elements, enough to attract my pseudo-military fans of the eyeballs, but to see the 《One Shot》 movie starring, I first thought of a bad movie, which is the Scott Akins left me the impression.
But the entire film is shot in one shot, which again enhances my desire to watch, after all, the 2019 release of “1917”, one shot to the end of this filming technique of the extremely strong sense of immersion, deeply shocked me.
The so-called one shot is explained below:
Terminology

Technical Requirements

At the same time, the director also uses some other techniques to hide the editing points, such as the audience is often easy to ignore the changes in the secondary content when the main body movement, the movement process of the object is easy to be ignored, the lens flare, the light and shadow changes caused by the borrowed time transitions and the actual light effects of the unintentional dark field, and so on. Of course, there are also those that rely on post-production modification, such as a scene where the camera pans up to the sky, and then, as the sky darkens, the picture is obviously switched.
From this, we can see that the difficulty of this kind of filming techniques, on the director, photography, scene scheduling, actors and other requirements are very high.
Going back to the movie One Shot itself, the plot is simple; a four-man Navy SEAL team and an analyst head to a prison to find a terrorist being held there and bring him back to Washington to help solve a terrorist attack. But the terrorists won’t let the Americans take this man away so easily, and a truckload of armed men storm the prison to take over and free the other inmates here, working together to stop this seemingly simple mission of mutual transportation.
The plot isn’t really all that compelling, but the one-shot approach and the strength of the actors, including Akins, really caught my eye and immersed me in the not-so-big prison scene. The biggest highlight is that although one shot to the end, but the camera in front of more than just the SEAL team members, but also very clever use of camera movement, the main perspective on the militants, their dialog, tactical strategy, etc. are extremely well presented in front of the audience, will not let the audience feel monotonous and boring.
Personally think that the most wonderful part of the movie is that nearly eight minutes long knife fight, Akins a knife, similar to the third-person game, lurking, stealth, detour, the kill a kill, shouldn’t be killed to avoid hiding, accompanied by the Akins gasping, the atmosphere of the sense of tension, do not need any background sound effects, there has been a sense of immersion in the wrong place.
As for the military display of firearms and tactical actions in the movie, I, a pseudo military fan, can’t see any flaws.
