This is a mobile phone case I painted for my friend as a birthday gift, and my friend likes it very much. (Zero photography skills are zero, the real thing is pretty good …)

So, how to make a personal custom phone case like this?

First of all, go to the Internet to search for the size of the corresponding mobile phone. My friend’s mobile phone is iPhone5 with a size of 123.8×58.6mm. So, I created a new 123.8×58.6mm canvas in Photoshop. Because it is to be printed, the pixel requirements are high, and the setting is 350.

Then you can enjoy it. I plan to draw the Q version of our two, first sketch the position and movement of the characters.

Decrease the transparency of this layer, and create a new layer on top to sketch the character image and clothing. The sketch is as follows when completed.

Delete all the sketches, put the line art layer on top, and set it to positive and negative mode. Create a new layer underneath it to determine the overall hue.

On this basis, the details of the characters are further described, and the specific process is not too much. (The line art layer is at the top.)

Then add background, watermark, and modify adjustments. Two characters were sold on the head to sell cute flowers.

The illustration can be finished here, but we have to make a case by hand, and there is the most critical step.
